"THE MORO AFFAIR. A CRIME AGAINST ITALY"

is a self-produced Docufilm that aims to finally tell the whole truth about the Moro crime.

Written and directed by Tommaso Minniti, based on Paolo Cucchiarelli's investigative books and original music by Johannes Bickler.

​

The two-part film tells the unheard-of story of the 55 days that blocked Italy forever on May 9, 1978, it does so by recomposing a very delicate mosaic with absolute probative coherence and historical truthfulness.

​

The story will seem like new, unknown, because it is put in a different light and revealed in a surprising way through the search for the real prisons of the President, the uncovering of the dynamics of the killing, the identification of forces.  international players in the field. All supported by unpublished and incontrovertible testimonies of the protagonists of the time: the Hon. Claudio Signorile and Mons. Fabio Fabbri.

IT IS NOT A CASE, MORO is also a film that reconstructs, as in an old super8, the negated sequences, or the moments of this story removed from the collective imagination, because they are omitted, mystified, buried. Everything that has never been said about the Moro crime, the documentary shows with courage.

Evidence in hand, it is said that in via Fani there was American intelligence, that the Italian state knew immediately where Moro was hidden and that the killing was decided just as the President was about to be released.

​

Even after more than forty years, Italy does not know how its history has slipped from the heights of the Constituent Assembly to the contemporary tragicomic abyss; the film will help to understand this. In fact, it recomposes the salient phases of the most illustrious crime of our time, which also marks the premature end of the Italian Republic.

This work is a necessary restart point for anyone who wants to rebuild the dignity and role of our country, on the foundation of truth.
